LX570 Side Mirrors (not folding issue)
I have a 2008 model LX-570. . . The side mirrors started to show issues. . . The left side: now completely does not fold. While the right side hesitates to fold and does not fold as smooth as before. Is there any way to rectify this rather then going for two new pieces.

You could take them apart to see if you can find the part that is worn out but I do not think Lexus has the parts to fix as when I damaged one of my mirrors on my previous LX is was just under $1000 for a whole new assembly. They claimed they would not just replace the parts broken. Maybe a salvage yard would be able to supply parts, but bet the mirrors are in high demand.
