Can you explain?

1st page on this forum goes all the way back to July.

1st page on the 200 series forum has 2 days worth of content.

Linking to the other forum occasionally probably won't change that much.

You can help support the forum by buying one of the 7,000 dollar bodykits from our vendor.

We should start to discuss 2017 purchase price now. 2016 is almost over.

Skip! Over price. Does not look any better than OEM. Move on, nothing to look around.

Pimping may or may not be easy, but nobody ever said it was cheap!

So this probably won't work?....

If others ask a question or need to know where to find something Land Cruiser or LX related, and the info is not here, what would you suggest they do? Waiting here for answers lacks the immediacy of ih8mud.com, especially it someone has a rth issue. Not a criticism...just the way it is. That said, nfg.

Why do you "absolutely hate it" ?

I think both this forum and mud complement each other. The DIY stuff has saved me bunches of money on both the LC and LX. Off-road photography allows you to see that your truck can actually do what it was designed for.

This place reeks of elitism. People driving luxury SUV's who want to roll in mud.

If you can afford a $90,000+ 6000lbs 4WD SUV then that is awesome but if you can afford that and take it off road and dont give a S#1t about scratches and dirt. Than id say "YOUR DA MAN"

After all the LX was built for the beaten path!

Elitism? 2 days ago I was accused of being you-flil-in-the-blank "phobic". Then I the same "person" said I might be "deplorable".

The LX is on a direct family line with the Land Cruiser. They're supposed to go anywhere / anyplace / any time, and they'll also get you back, through the mud.

And I was thinking that's why people actually buy LX's and Land Cruisers. Duh...

and most S, 7, and LS owners don't get to enjoy a lot of the amenities of their cars when they are the only person in the car most of the time -- in the driver seat. same concept

some still buy it to show off their status. stupid if you ask me.

Few personality traits are as obnoxious, and as easily seen through, as pretension.

Sad when your self-esteem is based on possessions.

I would never think having LX is about showing off status. Lexus brand name is a dime a dozen on the roads, range from $30K to $100K. An average Joe would never know LX cost $90K, he would think it is just another SUV. No one would care about it and definitely would not make their heads turn. If one asks me how much RR or Hummer would be, I have no clue. It is just another SUV that sucks a lot of gas. It is a vehicle to get some one from point A to point B with comfort ride.

Lexus, Mercedes, BMW are luxury and comfort, that's so. Nothing is special about them. If tons of them on the roads, does it mean every one drive them is filthy rich or has especial status? I doubt it. They are just regular folks. What about a drug dealer or pimp drives fancy BMW, Cady or Mercedes SUV's, they have a "status" alright....... Don't tailgate me or blow your a$$ off .

If I want to show off or make their head turn, I would buy Ferrari or Lambo. Exotic cars, not SUV's. BTW, Lambo makes SUV's now, anyone?
