2016 LX570 mpg
With the 8 speed transmission, what will be the mpg rating on the 2016 LX? I checked the Lexus website, but it did not even listed the 2016 as an 8 speeder but a 6spd. What has been the real world mpg for those that have received their 2016 LX?
is this news to you?
im surprised you bought the car without the necessary research.
as you can see on the cars I own ( plus a Tesla model S)
I am very aware of the limitation of my Land Cruiser.
mpg is its weakness but, towing/hauling something and transporting 5 adults and 2 kids comfortable is where it shines.
the Land Cruiser/ LX570 is not a stop light to stop light winner as well.
just in case people are complaining on its 0-60
But generally get about 14 mpg in city, on highway it shines, 23 mpg.
I expect the LX to have slighly lower numbers. I see no reason why it couldnt get 20 mpg on highway. Just be easy with throttle.
my gx in winter only gets 11-12 mpg, partly cause i warm it up in morning before driving.

My screen showing 11.2 MPG now, winter in Vegas and I go work at night so is around 32-40 degree; did use the remote start many times when get off at night; I put it in Normal mode and is all city driving with slopes, about 10 miles round trip daily for work

Toyota really need to do update their engines, it is a very competitive market now and these days are all going crazy on MPG numbers
Although I'm expecting poor MPG for a big car, but I don't mind getting better MPG LOL

so are you a physician, work at nite?
the next generation of engines by lexus will be turbo based. I 'll just hold onto my gx and see what they bring in 2019
the pay is good though, minus the six figure student loan

I still like N/A engines better, especially the sound from a V8+, but turbo will be the new trend for more MPG
