If a customer is willing to pay that amount, then I don't blame the dealer. However, you would have to be a very stupid consumer to bite on that so called deal.

It's because they know who ever buys it is going to ship it overseas. Here in Toronto it's sold out till June. Picked up mine on Thursday already have a offer for $110 k cad. In us it's $100k USD. So it's 35-40 percent cheaper here
it's not a secret that the lx and lc are in super high demand overseas. what makes you think the resale of these cars are so high here in the US? if you get the right color combo ppl are eyeing on your car all the time.
with that said, the demand is far from that high in the US yet for over msrp. socal dealerships are having these cars in stock now, not on all color combos but inventory is there. shippers are sitting tight
This is meant for overseas buyers. Anyone can walk into any US lexus dealer and buy a new LX for MSRP or less...more aggressive discounting will start when the 2015s are gone, and the initial surge of buyers dies down.

right now, i am seeing about 1-3 grand off msrp. check out edmunds to see what people are paying or truecar.com
