I drove a Nightfall Mica 2016 LX a few days ago. Surprisingly, I really liked the heads up display. I was also impressed by the visibility. The grill seemed more tame in person versus the picture. I really liked the color. The
"surround" camera view was nice---- took a while to figure out the controlls for the big display screen. Didn't reallly get the chance to try the "all speed" adjusting cruise control--- which is the major must have for me. All the 2016's are selling quickly in So. Cal., and 2015s seem to be sitting on the lots. |

This 16 does drive better and is quieter than my 13. Love the navi. screen and heads-up display, No more refrig., in the console and a place to put my phone in front of the console, with charging plugs, etc. No pictures, but it is Black/Black inside with very good, rich looking dark wood trim. Also roof rack is flat on roof with no cross bars. I have always removed the cross bars from mine anyway. We must have front license plates here in Texas and that may ruin the front end look. This one had no plates on front. Love the look of the head lights.
The cool box is still available, though it is now a stand-alone option (just shy of $200). The Luxury Package used to include this; it's now much more limited in scope than it had been from 2010 through 2015. Interesting observation on the cross bars. I had not noticed until you mentioned it and I took a second look at photos. They do not seem to be an option either. |

Not to mention the front end, as well as a somewhat antiquated sound system. Definitely not the styling I'd think would still look as timeless as the 100 series 5 or 6 years later. :rolleyes: Steve |
