Default USB audio not working

Greetings gentlemen and ladies,

I have an issue with LX 570 2010 model, it seems that the USB port doesn't play audio files anymore.
I use regular USB devices had no issues before and with MP3 files.
Although the electricity still seems to be working as I have tried to use USB cables from the port itself and charges phones, etc.
Even the phones won't go though as audio devices.

I was hoping if there was some sort of audio reset or system reset that I can do so that I don't go to the next step of replacing the port itself.

Regards, Mo

And thanks in advance.

Did you try with another USB drive? From your post you say electricity is flowing so I guess you need to suspect the USB drive itself.

If you did, it might be the usb port fuse which I don't know which one of them because the book say fuses#42,51,52 on the engine compartment and fuse#3 on driver side panel are linked to Audio system

I have indeed tried a different USB, I have had a car electrician check the fuses today, all of them seem to be working.

I suspect it's a system issue, because the AUX port beside it is working fine as well, it's just the port that doesn't want to connect to the media system.

It's been a long time since I've checked in on these forums but I ran into a similar problem in my '14 LX 570. I came here and read the replies to see if I could figure out why the USB AUX port just stopped working on me.

earlier today I pulled and reseated all of the fuses mentioned in this thread and I vacuumed out the USB port just for good measure. It now works again!

Did you try a different cable? I have had cable failure in my past and they would still recharge.

I had used 4 different cables before pulling, checking, and reseating the fuses. I have no explanation as to why it worked but it did. Go figure
