s class are nice cars, i have s550. but i wouldn't call it that perfect at all. it's good and have some nice stuff that i really like about, however, there are a lot of areas it can use improvements on

s63? 2012? that would be great because they changed it to the tt v8 system, way more powerful imho

in short, i would say s class carries tremendous amount of status and prestige. if you want that, it's the car to go after. it also drives pretty good, much better than most lexus imho. when it comes to electronics imho lexus is still better and easier to use in some aspects.

In this case, it will be the LX-570, compared to the S-class - two different vehicles, with two different purposes, though in the same general price range, if you overlook all the AMG stuff that wife's has.

Still, there are some things that one does better, and then for some other items, the opposite vehicle did it better. It is close, and if I could only do a car-meld, maybe I would have the ultimate vehicle?

Just hit 88 miles today, so need a bit more time with the truck. I might throw in a very few comments, on things that changed between my '00 Landcruiser and the Lexus LX-570. Ninety-nine percent, I go with the Lexus, but there ARE a few little differences, that might should have been carried over?

differences i see from 2008-11 LX

headlights. grille. sensors on front.
door guards fatter with more chrome on side.
turn signals on lamps.
different tail lights and rear bumper.
wheels.

anything i miss?
want one, but gas mpg scary
