this is how the new generation vehicle fob, like the 4gs', look

the lx is just a facelift so i think that's why it looks the same as before

Any time a 4GS driver shows off his key fob, you can always respond by showing off you key card, if you have the LL package.

Most LX's come with the LL package (which includes the key card) it is very rare to come across one in base form, at least the in the US...

 

"They" meaning GSs or LXs? Not available on the GS as I understand it, and available on the LX only with the Luxury Package.

 

Actually, that is probably true for 2013 because the model run just began so they are shipping more loaded models. They always seem to do that (did it with the 2010 GX460 in 2009, where you could only find fully loaded Premium models).

However, just wait and there will be plenty out there - not just without LL, but also without Mark Levinson. Hard to believe, I know, but I saw plenty of 2010 and 2011 LXs like that. Also did the same with the GX: after the initial run, for a while, they weren't even shipping Premium ones.
