HID lights on LX

HID lights on LX
I looked on www.lexus.com and saw there is no option of adding HID lights on LX570. Is this normal? Does any of y'all LX comes with HID? I think it's kinda funny how lexus doens't give HID for the most expensive model while the much cheaper IS has it.
US spec LX from 08-11 (current year), hid is not an option at all. it's an option for some other countries but not the US. starting 2013 model, hid seems to be an option finally.
lexus lx never had hid until 2013. lexus gx never had hid until 2010. lexus' reason was the height of the headlights being too "high" and thus hid would create glare. we all know it's not a good excuse, but at least that's what they said before

thanks for your info. and yes I agree with ya, I think it's totally weird for Lexus not to give HID as an option. being lexus, they should've figure something out so LX can still get an HID without any issue. I think lexus is being a lil cheapy
i wouldn't think cost is an issue. on a 90k car, hid is nothing. for example if you look at LS, hid is standard and that car starts at 60k. i guess lexus probably had some reason that they thought is legit. of course, that changed in 2013 version, and i don't think the headlight design / height of car have any major change
