Default Hands free Phone delay?

Do anyone else experience a delay when answering your phone via the LX570 hands free system. When I get a call and hit the phone button to answer, there seems to be like a 5-7 second delay before the caller can hear me. I have to wait for like 5 seconds before I can say hello or they do not hear me.

Just wondering if it was just my system or others have had similar problems like this.

I have 3-4 sec delay before the other party starts hearing me with my HTC Android phone. However, no problem with my iPhone.

I made a call to my office and started counting, out load, each second from the time I hit the phone button on the wheel and my office manager said she the first thing she heard was the number three

It did seem longer.

I just took it into the dealer for the 10k and asked them to check it out. They told me it was working within specs and that some phones take longer to answer than others when on bluetooth. I have linked several Blackberrys, two different iPhone 4 and now a Samsung Galaxy S2 using Android and it has the same delay!

Just my luck that all these phone are defective!

Do not get me wrong, I love my 570. Maybe on my next they will have updated all the telematics.

My Motorola W755 phone picks up a call immediately in our '06 GX470 but takes 3-5 seconds to pick up in our '10 LX570. You're correct that it's not the phone, it's the LX.

Funny,
I still have not experienced any delays with my iPhone 4, but any other phone will produce a delay of 3-5 sec in my '10 LX. It is a clearly the car's BT issue. Lexus does not even know how to approach this problem.

It is likely something they can not fix unless they had an update. I have quit using my handsfree with my phone and risk life and limb holding my phone while talking
