Brake Booster Pump

With the 5.7L V8, how often do you hear your brake booster pump? Mine seems to cycle way too often and is quite annoying (every 4 pushes of the pedal or so).

Never heard that. My LX is just 2 months old, but no break pump sound yet. I have to admit my breaks are very soft. I already complained to the dealer, who promised to communicate this to the headquarters.

hmmm... maybe it's specific to the Landcruiser. I don't have the LX570 but the evil twin.

I hear a 1 second buzz at each cycle, but it cycles more often than I think it should.
