If there were a roll-my-eyes emoji here, I'd say it's time to use it.

We just got back from a 1500 mile trip from Idaho to California. MPG for the trip averaged 17.48 mpg. Gas used was a mix of 90 to 93 octane, my usual no-ethanol was unavailable.

No complaints.

I put premium in mine a few tanks ago, not one speck of anything different. Use 87 and save yourself money.

I get slightly over 20MPG hwy with nothing but 87.

Similar speaking, some ppl say you can put in 5/30 regular engine oil...despite the manual says 0/20 syn.... I only put 0/20 every oil change on 5k interval though.
See what Toyota recommends in oil outside of the U.S.

The 0/20 is there for best possible (read fractional) mpg numbers. Great in the winter, ridiculous in the summer where oat's are in the 80's +++. Toyota has changed oil weight numbers more than a few times in their manuals.
