Default Uncomfortable left seat?

Has anyone noticed their drivers seat being uncomfortable?? Specifically the left side of the seat itself, where the side bolster meet the seat? Basically it is where your upper left thigh/hamstring lays on the seat.

All chime in please.

Not what you likely want to hear but I find the 570 seats superior to my 470 seats. Even after hours of riding, they are quite comfortable.

You do know about the back of the thigh support adjustment. I had the "kid" at Lexus adjust this and it took me about 30 minutes to figure out what was wrong and hit the button to lower it back into my position.

my problem is more on the left side of the seat (towards the door) on my upper thigh/hamstring...not really the seat extnestion. Im wondering if its more the seat bolster being too firm?

My drivers seat is uncomfortable! It has what feels like a pipe or tube at the rear of the seat bottom cushion--and my tail bone is resting on it. I asked my service advisor at the 1,000 mile checkup and he said it is normal. He said the seat is built around a box and I am sitting on the back edge of the box--is this seat really diff from the 06 LX470--I had one of them and the seat didn't sit like this.

that is exactly what i feel!! Its like a pipe on my left bottom. i took it to the dealer a few weeks ago again and they put some extra padding in it...helped a lot. If I come back, they said they would just probably replace the seat. It is not normal!

Default seat bottom cushion

Yesterday while getting my LX washed at my Lexus dealership (Park Place-Plano) I was able to point out the problem with the bottom seat cushion to the dealership Diagnostic Specialist--he took a picture to point to the spot on the seat--and emailed Lexus Corporate. Maybe we will get this fixed. i think this may be a known problem on the LS460.

The diagnostic specialist at my dealership has found the problem with my front seats. A small circuit board was just under the seat cover at the rear of the seat bottom. (he has made a new spot for the circuit board to sit)The Lexus factory service rep was there; they took pictures; hopefully the factory will issue a fix in the near future. This bump was felt in both front seats--I can't wait to see if it is really fixed--will advise after I have given it a test.

Thank you so much for keeping me updated...if you ever get a chance, send me those pics, please. I am looking forward to your experience with your "new" seats. Are the circuit boards in the wrong place, or were they in their correct place?

After a few hundred miles on my front seats, I can say "they are fixed". My dealership has sent pictures and explanation to Lexus Corp office-the field service engineer has seen the problem & fix; so a fix should be in the works for all.

I have run my hand all over my front seats, where you sit, and there is nothing there that I can feel. I wonder if only some of the LX570 had these boards in this particular place.

Lexus has had my truck for over two weeks now. They have ran into a lot of resistance from Lexus Corporate about just replacing the seat. So, they have decided to replace parts of the seat to see if that makes a difference.
I went there Friday to see the various parts...and saw something very interesting. They had the seat bottom itself, which was not very revealing. Then they showed me the leather covering...which shows a few cords running through the seams of the seat bottom. If you look on your Lexus seat bottom, there is a place where three seams meet at the edges of the seat. At that junction is where theses cords meet and they are wrapped up in a bit of material and supposed to be tucked into the seams of the seat bottom. My discomfort is coming exactly from this area where the three cords meet underneath....on the left side exactly...and i believe that this "cord junction" has not been tucked into the seems of the seat as it should be. So, they have decided to replace the leather covering, not the seat bottom itself. Will let you know.
SIDRIGGS...can you send me another pic of your location on the seat where you experienced your problem? And which dealership were you dealing with? I messaged you with my email

Thanks

Perry

Default Pemarsh re:seat

Pemarsh, I just sent another picture from my iPhone. For the picture, I placed a screw where the seat was fixed. My dealership is Park Place Lexus, Plano, Texas. The Tech there said he cut a slot in the foam (hard foam) and placed the circuit board in that slot so I would not feel it when I sat down. It worked! This is a different region with Lexus, but the field service engineer for here is aware of this fix, so corporate is aware of it. Good Luck.
