I need to get a new key fob. How do you get a new key fob programmed?

 

I ordered one on Amazon and programmed it with Techstream.
You can also use a place like this that will rent you a programmer https://tomskey.com
Costco has a company they work with that will program keys for you.
Or you can go to a lot of locksmiths to have it done.
Or the dealer if you have extra cash.

 

Be sure to also have the slip out mechanical key cut if you want to 1) unlock a dead battery car or 2) lock the glove box when valet parking.

 

best option is the dealer.

 

I bought 2 from Amazon. I had them keyed at the dealer
