With climate control on, anytime I brake or go down a hill, or stop, the fan makes a noise that sounds like it’s wobbling… like it’s been thrown “forward”. I can accelerate and it goes away and stays quiet unless I “throw” it forward again..

2010 LX570 luxury. Climate control works great. Just that noise only under those circumstance.

where would I check to see if it’s loose?

 

Blower fan may be going, it should be under the passenger dash area

 

I got the blower fan out. When spinning it or shaking it, it is totally quiet. I hesitate to order a new one unless I know what’s making the grinding sound… surely the motherboard electronic mechanism isn’t making the sound?

I don’t want to spend $155 just to put a new one in and it make the same sound. In anyone’s experience, what actually makes the growling/grinding sound with the fan?
