LX570 Radar users
Good evening,
I’m running the Uniden R7 & was wondering if anyone is using a radar mirror mount in their vehicle? I bought the LX570 5 minutes ago, but it’s 1900 miles away. I’m interested in mirror mounting the radar, but don’t have the vehicle present to inspect the OEM mirror mount & its size. I’m buying all of the “stuff” I want to install when it’s delivered. I know, I know…patience is a virtue. Thanks in advance.

I have a 2021 LX570 and use the Blendmount system. A little pricey compared to others, but the quality is there. Also used a mirror tap to have a clean install without any power cables, just get power from rear view mirror connection in windshield. If you are handy, it’s an easy install, otherwise a Best Buy installer will do the install of the mirror tap..

Do you know which Blendmount you purchased? There are several versions & I would like to purchase the same setup you are describing.

I went to Blendmount website and entered the vehicle information and my radar detector brand and model. The bracket is a BMG 2001R, it may be different for you if you are using a different model radar detector. Just enter your specific information on the Blendmount website. If you have not selected a radar detector, wait until you get the detector, there are different models of the Blendmount system depending on the specific make and model of your detector. I use an Escort redline 360C so the uniden will have a different connecting device on the Blendmount holder and a different mirror tap wire.
