remove a satellite radio preset? "Channel Unauthorized"!

remove a satellite radio preset? "Channel Unauthorized"!
So the clowns over at XM satellite radio dumped channel 027 "Deep Tracks". they replaced the channel with some new channel, reusing the 027 channel number.
but now when i scroll thru the presets the old "Deep Tracks" preset is there, but only displays momentarily, then i get an error message that says "CH Unauthorized", and it then pops over to whatever was the last channel used.
so i can not tune a new channel that i like and OVER-WRITE the old 027 deep tracks channel. i get the CH UNAUTHORIZED message for a second, and then it retunes.
i tried reauthorizing the XM radio, and it did nothing.
this is getting frustrating

thanks. sitting in the car, your advice makes sense. took me a while to realize that.
you have a bum channel on your presets.
get the display to show the presets.
use the ^ or DOWN arrow on the steering wheel to highlight the bum channel, such as "027 Deep Tracks", but DO NOT select it.
Use the rotary dial on just to the right side of the display panel to tune to another channel, such as "018 Beatles".
THEN without moving the cursor at all, take the big square button on the "mouse" contraption in the center console, and PUSH AND HOLD it down for five seconds. the NEW channel will now occupy that preset location!
