Default XM Radio ID?

I purchased a 2007 Lexus RX 350 this summer. We had XM radio for a few months before the previous owner's subscription ran out. I went to Channel 0 to find the radio ID, the radio says "Radio ID" o n the screen but does not display the IDnumber. I have hit the text button to try and change the display format, but nothing shows. Any ideas?

You may have better luck asking this question in the Second Generation forum.

My only thought is to check with Lexus to see if they have the radio ID for the vehicle.

Good luck.

Does the XM still work?

Channel zero should show the Radio ID. And Channel one and two should still work. they should have the preview channel playing. If not your receiver may have died.

Select sat radio mode. Tune in channel 000 using the TUNE ****. The display should alternate between radio model id and radio xm id (8 alpha numeric characters). Write down the XM ID and use it to activate your radio.

If you don't see it immediately, let it set for a little while. XM has a tech support line that may be helpful; Lexus may also have it on file.

You might give this link a try with your VIN (or just call them on the phone with the VIN):
