1999 LX470 Won't start unitl battery is disonnected / reconnected
Hi all! I'm new to the LX470 community and loving every minute so far.....well until the last few weeks.
The problem: I have a 1999 LX470 that has not started twice within the last few weeks until I disconnect and reconnect the battery. It will crank just fine, I'll drive it somewhere, and then 10 minutes later it doesn't start. The blinking red security light does go off when I insert the key, but no other lights or noises occur when I try to turn it over. I tested the battery and it is fine.
Please offer any solutions no matter how simple or dumb they may seem. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person.....although I did just replace the key ignition cam shaft and I'm pretty proud of that!
