Default 2000 LX470 - door lock buttons not working. Actuators seem ok.

New to the community.

First off, big thanks for the wealth of knowledge in here. I picked up a 2000 LX470 back in November and it has been great. I bought it for me but my wife loves it too much, so now it's hers. I've already found lots of good info in here as I've been fixing it up, so I appreciate the time you all take to share your experiences.

My question:

I am able to lock/unlock the doors without issue using the keyfob. All locks seem fine (including rear hatch) so the actuators appear to be working. The door lock buttons (both driver side and passenger) don't work. I press and don't hear a click or anything.

I've looked over the fuses in the panel under the instrument panel and they all look fine.

Any other clues or do these buttons wear out over time and need to be replaced?

(I did do significant forum searches but nearly all posts centered around actuator problems)

Thanks!

Just a swag, but if the fuse(s) and actuators are all OK, you may have an issue with either an intermittent cable (rare) or a bad ECU (less rare but still a possibility).

Default Same issue with 2001 LX470

Did you ever find the fix to this issue? I have the same problem with my 2001 LX470. BTW my wife also loves this car. Any updates would be appreciated.
Thanks
Leonard
