Default Japan spec headlights?

I'm new here, but have been active on a few other auto forums. I've searched, but didn't find anything about this question.

My 03 Corvette has Euro spec headlights made with glass lenses instead of the acyrilic plastic ones used for the US market. I added these and Euro headlight motors (pop-up headlights) with metal gears instead of US spec nylon gears.

Which brings me to the LX question. I just purchased my 07 LX and the headlights are clouding in front of the projectors and has developed some serious cracking and hazing in that focused spot too. Instead of buying new plastic lenses, I'd prefer glass.

Does the Japan spec J100's have glass housings/lenses? Or possibly the Euro exports? Are there aftermarket offerings?

I sold my 97 LC and my 97 LX years ago, but seem to remember they had glass lenses...

Iirc, Toyota switched from glass to plastic in either 2002 or 2003.

You cannot purchase just the "new plastic lenses...you'll need new Lexus headlight housings. No difference between JDM and other markets in materials. However, I'd expect major goofiness in light patterns between the 2 as Japanese trucks are driven on the wrong side of the road.

Many aftermarket housings...do a little searching on eBay...I'd go first with Retrofit Source and simply have S2000 reflectors installed in new housing. They're on ih8mud.com.

Snow melted, finally, after 2 weeks. More came in yesterday evening. Freezing rain in the forecast tomorrow morning. In the high 20's at night, could be worse.

On Topic...Some of the best money I've spent on the truck so far has been a set of Tundra take-off wheels and Blizzaks to go with them.
