Default Between comfy, regular , and sport

Hello ,

I have a 2013 LX570 , and I am not comfortable with its driving experience while its in the "NORMAL" state , the break pedal needs a lot of pushing before the car starts to decrease in speed, and the first gear seems to be having issues switch to 2nd when driving slowly , I get some buffer time.

Any how, I found setting my car in the "SPORT" position give a lot more pleasurable driving experience but a friend of mine said that heard setting the car in "SPORT" or "COMFY" for long periods of time will heavily damage the car , it should only be used as needed .

Can some one debunk or confirm this myth?

If that were true it would be stated in your owners manual as a warning. I've never had this problem with any of the LX's I've owned. I also would not worry since you have a 2013 with enough warranty to cover any possible problem, which you won't have one.

Thanks for your reply,

As an owner of multiple LX's can you tell me anything about the car? This is my first one

You can leave it to whatever you feel is pleasurable to you ... no harm anywhere.. i used to leave my lx470 in comfy all the time ..same with LX570 no issues yet -
