Hey guys. Just bought a 2000 LX 470 loaded. How does the ACH work? I see the light and the switches, but how does it move up and down. I don't notice anything.

 

Hey congrats, to see it work make sure all doors are closed. And then push the button and watch it, also between swtiches from n to h or n to l give the system 45 seconds so you dont overuse the pump.

 

I saw on the dash the light go from N to Hi and the HI light was blinking yet nothing happened.
I switched it to LO and the light was blinking and nothing was happened. I hit the OFF button and then Turned it ON, but nothing. DOes that mean it is broken? I don't have an owners manual yet.

 

You might have a problem, also make sure your not pressing the brake or hand brake. If it doesnt work you may have a problem.

You can get the owners manual for a used Lexus by going to the Lexus web site and registering yourself as the owner of the vehicle. Go to the "Owners" link at the top of the page and register with your VIN number. No need to buy one.

Try the height control while in park with your foot off of the brake. While the manual says you can't move while in Low, I find you can easily up to 10 mph without it switching to Normal. Nice for sneeking under that low beam in a parking garage!
