Default Slip Indicator Light Issue

When I come to a stop, sometimes this light comes on. It doesn't come on all the time by any means.
As soon as the car starts to move, the light goes out. It never comes on when the car is moving.

Any ideas?

It might be the hill hold feature. It comes on when the car is at a stop and you press the brake hard.

The slip light is only suppose to come on when your car detects any slipping of the wheels. If your light is turning on and off during normal driving conditions without the wheels slipping there could be something wrong with your traction control system

It could be a problem but the slip light flashes when hill hold is on.

I agree that you probably engaged the hill start assist control feature. I've done this a couple of times myself. If you press hard on the brake, hill hold is engaged and the light comes on.

It's operation is discussed on Page 276 of your owner's manual.

Thanks for the input...I'll look again in the manual.
