Just spent $1500 about 10 minutes ago for new Bridgestone Quiettraks for my 21'. If anyone wants 800 mile Bridgestone Turanza runflats they are for sale!!!
So they like night and day? You raving about the upgrade?
Is it as expected? Trade off worth it? What are can you notice?
Its rare for someone to take fresh RFT off. Usually they wait a bit.
You running with a spare kit? Inflator/goo kit?

Night and day. Car rides like ly old 13' LS460L. Runflats made it ride like hell over potholes and imperfections. Road noise has been 95% eliminated. I figured if I spent that kind of money on this kind of car it needs to ride well and with the runflats it just simply didnt.
I have a small air pump in the trunk but with TPMS system you will be well warned if you have a nail or so. Im 38 years old and only once in my life have I had to change a tire on the side of the road. Not worried about it.
I own a 2018 LS500 that I finally this year got rid of my Bridgestone run flats. I went to a Continental regular 20" tire and put a pump/fluid system that I bought from Amazon and never looked back. My Continentals are way quieter and the ride so much better. It doesn't ride as good as my 07 LS460L due to different suspension but I will never go back to run flats. Just read about tires and let the tire with the rim edge protector.
And the highest UV rating on our planet...wear sunscreen!
True, and we did. No clouds!
Back on subject, I have the CrossClimate2 on wife's Audi allroad and its a cool tire for that car. As said, it would look a bit funny on the LS.
The tire is quiet and handles great.
Modern Spare has a kit now. for about $550. The Griot Tire inflator kit for $60 is said to be the same as the Mercedes kit that sells for $250 or so.
Im on the fence about what I'll do and perhaps get some use from the runflats until then.
I took my run flats off a year ago and got a compressor and a plug kit. No problems, but I felt like my luck might run out ,so I bought a spare from EZ Spare in Atlanta......$330 and it comes with a nice cover,.
