What I hate about my LS500 after 2 years (video)
Let me know if you agree with the thing I don't like about my LS500 after 2 years.

- no ability to close the trunk from inside the car; seems like such a miss when it’s all powered anyways
- no option lock the car when closing the trunk from the outside (a La Rx350)
- no audio cues for the blind spot monitoring, visual only.
As we all will have multiple opinions on our cars, I have owned 3 versions of the LS. My LS460L was an absolute pleasure as I'm 6'3" and 225#. That leg room in the front and back was perfect for my family. The newer 2018 sits about the same in the front but the back has less leg room than my old LS460L. My son is 6'5".
Your comment on the stop/start is different than mine. I personally hate that and so glad Lexus didn't do that. It would have killed it for me to buy if it had that. In Texas we reach 100 degrees so that kills the air conditioner a well. There is also a delay in accelerating when that is on a vehicle.
The two things I dont like are those run flat tires which there are plenty of notations on that and that backup beeping in reverse. That is an annoying issue. This isn't a truck.
Overall, I am pleased but every car has its pros/cons.
Thought the video was good. Like your color combination.

Thanks. Yes pros & cons to every car! I don't think my car beeps as much as yours in reverse...?
My first post here on the forum...I have a 2018 Lexus LS and do not share the same concerns. My biggest gripe is the harsh suspension over large bumps. My understanding is that the suspension was modified in 2021 to address this. Overall, I can deal with the difficult interface to the infotainment center, no touch screen and the lack of a spare tire (I changed out the run flats for all-season and purchased a roadside tire repair kit). I've learned how to modulate the accelerator as to avoid hesitation. My family is of average height so leg room is not an issue. I have to say that I look forward to driving my car each and every time! BTW, I would not have purchased this car if it had the engine stop/start feature and couldn't be disabled. That is a terrible thing to do to your engine.
thanks for the video. Agree on the points except the touchscreen; Im actually part of the minority that finds it easy to control the GUI using the touch pad. Would also add:

- no option lock the car when closing the trunk from the outside (a La Rx350)
- no audio cues for the blind spot monitoring, visual only.
