So, did give it a test drive. Car is actually quite nice in appearance and decent enough inside. Engine is not great. Perhaps if it was an ES350 AWD, this would be a quick and easy decision, but the 250 is lacking quite a bit of juice between 2nd and 3rd gear.
Now I have to decide how cheap I want to be!
In other news, but 2018 LS which is due to go back apparently has $5K of equity in it. Might be able to collect that from Carvana.
thanks for circling back. 203 HP is very underpowered for a 3800 lb car. If you can forego the AWD, the V6 version is about the same price. Don’t understand why Lexus does not offer the AWD with the V6. Good luck.

sadly I need the AWD. Not sure the logic of not having the V6 in the AWD. Particularly since they discontinued the GS
honestly I wouldn’t consider it if it wasn’t for the fact that the car will likely accumulate 1k miles for the rest of this year thanks to “working from home”
2oa, it seems like your trying to set yourself up for getting it and being miserable with the purchase....
25 years of buying cars, when you hesitate, when you dont love a feature or powertrain.... the car unless used for utility purposes will be traded soon there after
Compared to the LS the little 250 is going to be night and day. I believe you will accelerate the same under normal conditions. But your really going to hear it in the 250. I went from a IS350 to the LS500. I thought the IS was a quick little car. The LS accelerates at the same rate under normal city driving but with a LOT less effort. The LS acceleration is so much quieter than the IS350 also. I couldn’t go to a 250 after owning a 500.
