Default Reverse Camera Lines

I dont have the 360 camera set up...The standard reverse camera and i cannot figure out how to get the reverse lines to turn when you turn the wheel. i have tried to change all the modes on the screen, i think it gives 2 different line modes or no lines. Was this an option or it cannot be done?

If the battery was changed out or has just been dead you can "reinitialize"
the back up camera guide lines. While stopped in Reverse just turn the steering
wheel from lock to lock, pausing briefly at each extreme. The dash screen has a
menu button in the lower right, use the remote control to switch it. Each of the
three icons illustrates what the next function will be. 1) Plain single red clearance line,
2) Red line and crisscrossed light blue lines and 3) Red, light blue and Yellow lines.
These should be displayed even when the connection to the steering rack is faulty.
Once you have initialized by turning the wheel tap the screen button to select your
guide lines.

Are you seeing the "exclamation point in a hazard triangle" icon?

Did your battery die recently? If so, you might need to have the system re-calibrated by the dealer. There's more than likely some information about this error in the navigation manual.

From the Tech Manual:

INITIALIZE PANORAMIC VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM

(a) When "!" mark is displayed on the multi-display assembly, correct the steering angle neutral point using the following method.

(1) Fully turn the steering wheel to the left and right on flat ground.

NOTICE:

Memorizing the steering angle neutral point must be carried out with the engine running. Apply the parking brake, depress the brake pedal, check that the shift lever is in P, and ensure that the vehicle is not moving.

Notice my error in procedure from earlier thread, Car is to be in Park, not Reverse...

HINT:

If the steering angle neutral point cannot be memorized by fully turning the steering wheel to the left and right perform Steering Angle Setting in Calibration.

That last step, Steering Angle Setting in Calibration, would need to be done at the Dealer.
