Run Flat Tires
I just has a low tire pressure warning. Had the dealer check for the cause and found a nail. Because it was not centered on the tread the tire could not be repaired. I am having to wait 3 days for a replacement tire to be delivered. When I asked about installing snow tires, I discovered that the run flat rims would not allow the TPWS to work and they recommended I get a fifth tire so I would have a spare. Does anyone know if they have run flat snow tires? I saw a recommendation that it is good to have a tire pressure pump in the car, since the run flat tires can be reinflated to help get to a service point.
I have a problem with the stiff ride compared to my previous LS 430. Do the run flat tires contribute to the stiffer ride?

For safety reasons, the dealer probably doesn't want to install non runflat tires without having a spare. You can use any tire you want as long as they're the right size.
I don't see any rf snow tires on tirerack.com assuming you have 20s.
If you have 19s or don't mind downgrading to 19s, there are a couple of rf snow tires.
And yes, switching to non runflats would give you a softer ride since the rf tires are like driving on a solid piece of rubber vs a pocket of air like with non rf tires.
