Default LS500 conflicts with Passport 8500ci Radar?

I was wondering if anyone has installed any type of radar in their LS500? I have used an installed radar detector for the last several cars, and when I had it removed from my Volvo S90 last week and told them I would want it reinstalled in my LS500, they cautioned me there could be an issue. They told me the same thing with the Volvo S90, but the conflict was with the car's adaptive cruise control interfering with the radar detector. Has anyone had any issues with this? As I mentioned, it ended up not being an issue with the Volvo, but curious if anyone has had a problem with radar on their LS500. Thanks for any input.

I have the Escort 360C in my LS. I occasionally get false KA band alerts from the rear. With all of the safety technology in this, and other cars on the road now, I don't know if it is my car, or cars around me causing the alerts. Other than that annoyance, it works fine.

Thanks for that info. I was thinking it was okay as the tech guy at Lexus said the GM of the store had some type of radar in his car and he wasn't aware of any issues. Since I own this 8500ci already, might as well give it a go. I don't have this huge leadfoot, but I do like to know where the police are hiding in case I have slipped too far above a limit. I felt naked driving out there the last couple of days with no "protection".
