Default What is everyone getting for MPG

I thought I would start the thread as I can see in the near future many people asking this. I'll start, so far I have averaged 15.6 MPG and I have 1,200 miles on the odometer. I mostly do mixed driving but don't drive the car a lot.

According to the car’s info, 19.xx MPG. 1500 miles on the odo. 50 miles a day during the weekday to/from work mainly in traffic.

16.6 MPG with 1100 miles on the odometer. Mostly city driving with a little bit of highway driving. This is actually less than my 2014 and 2017 LS460 LWB cars.

This is what I thought, had a feeling the numbers were less than the outgoing LS. Hopefully it gets better, as these are almost the same when I had my GS with the Meistershaft exhaust.

Wow - must say I'm surprised this gets (on average) lower than the older gen LS. My 2010 RWD SWB averaged 20.2mpg with 60% highway and 40% city...

My driving habits and general routes have not changed for several years -- mileage is definitely lower on the 2018 LS500 when compared to the older LS 460s that had the V8. I thought the whole purpose of the V6 was to get better mileage while not giving up on power. So while the car has more horsepower, I seldom have any need for that kind of power on the roads that I drive.

After 20,000 miles, 25.4 mpg. (That's about 85% hwy, 15% city)

City mileage is definitely lower than the 460L. I average 15-16 in the city.
Highway mileage is significantly better in the 500 than the 460L. I average 33 mpg on the highway.

Mine is 25.2 MPG overall (about 80% freeway driving and 20% local) after 10,500 miles. As "dsc07" said, the city mileage is much worse than the highway one. I was able to achieve the best mileage is when the car is under cruise control and lane-keeping assist ON, in other words, the semi-auto mode.

I'm 100% city driving and I drive in eco mode 100% of the time and I get just about 12.5mpg.

That's what I thought as well, although I have the Toms racing boost it seems to be similar to others in gas mileage. I'm happy with the power just wish it was the V8 but hey I gave it a break because gas mileage was supposed to better.

Sir, so what is the consensus after months of ownership do you like the turbo motor better than v8 or do u miss the v8
any comparison of the two would be great to learn from someone that has had both and what you like and don't like

I would def say I wish this had a V8 for sure as I wont say the power is lacking but really do wish this had a sound to it. This car is so quiet, and I really think Lexus needs to give an update for the the delay when flooring it. I don't have the issue anymore with the Toms boost but it was pretty noticeable, a bit dangerous when you expected full power and it was delayed by some seconds. So in my opinion I would love this car to have a V8 but I can see it will probably go to the LS-F.

Car is really quiet on the highway. (I pick up three teenage kids from school and they all end up falling asleep in the car). Car has adequate power. I don't really pay much attention to the sound of the engine as I prefer not to hear it at all. Acceleration is more than adequate. There's a bit of lag though, but I have got used to it over the last two months.
