Default Front windshield tint?

has anyone tinted their front windshield? If so, what brand and what VLT %? Any issues with toll tags, radar, and or the Lexus safety features? The manual states “Do not attach window tinting to the windshield.” but doesn’t give a reason why.

I haven't yet as I'm not sure yet, but I believe there is a thread on this already, anyways it will be fine to get the tint. The tint shop just has to avoid the sensor camera which is the bulky piece in the middle. From the tint I had on my GS some things will not stick to the tint, may fall off like toll tags or radar detectors. I have had these fall off in the car also Dash cams need to be mounted to the actual glass not the tint.

I had 70% ceramic on the windshield in my last car. It had front cameras and HUD as well. The colors of the HUD did look slightly different but the visibility was the same They did not tint the camera. I had no issues.

you can reduce 30-40% of heat with a good ceramic on the front

Although I understand your point, I have had 50% tint on my front windshield and there is no danger. I had clear visibility still, even at night. Now 30% is dangerous as I have a friend that has it on his car, (he is a cop) I have trouble driving at night in his car and would never drive with 30% as it is dangerous anything below that is worse as well. I plan to get 70% Ceramic tint in the spring only because its illegal to have front tint.
