Has anyone found a way to add remote start to a 2021 LS500 without needing to subscribe in the Lexus app? My 2019 RC came with it from factory with no subscription required. I haven’t found any solution for the LS of this model year, however.

Close by, press the lock three times in a row.
Does not always do it the first time, or the seond. But it will.
We all have it. Its in the owners manual if you need to see it.

I’m familiar with how Lexus factory remote start operates because I used to have it in my other Lexus vehicles, but this one does not seem to have it. Maybe the setting needs to be programmed with a scan tool?

 

I cannot be certain about your model. My 2020 GS350 was similar to mine.
I only assumed. Your owners manuel depict the feature? If not functional then perhaps as feared its not operating properly.

 

I have Compustar/drone mobile but. u have to subscribe to the service unfortunately. Didn't feel like paying for the lexus service.
