I've become amazed at the panoramic view that appears when traveling under 5mph, especially the frame on the right showing the overhead view. Does anyone know if the backup camera handles this task as well, or is there another camera mounted higher, perhaps at the top of the rear window?

Panorama(360 camera) works by using all the information by each camera and laying them out and stitching them together to make it look like it’s a single camera from the top.
The only cameras I know of is the front by the “L” emblem, two sides under the mirrors, and the rear back up camera.

There is one or two (depending on options) additional cameras mounted under the review mirror that are used for Lane Keep Assist (LKA) and Lane Trace Assist (LTA).
The stereo camera is also used for the Lexus Safety System + Advanced Package.
Sure. Those interior cameras are not being used for 360 view though.
only the exterior cameras are used for 360deg. Then the processor use the info to generate the top view. This is why at speed over 15MPH or so, the 360deg view shuts off. The processor use doesn’t have enough power to process all that info when you’re moving at speed over 15MPH.
