I heard Lexus ls500 does not do well on sales in the USA. Why there are no big rebates on them or if there are then where should I look for an f sports 2023? Any ideas kindly?

No rebates because the LS 500 has become a niche vehicle, we now live in a world of SUV's. According to Automotive News, with sales of just 2,679 units in the United States in 2022, the LS flagship had the third-lowest sales of the 10 Lexus models. Lexus appears to not care about the vehicle that made them great in America be cause we lost interest in sedans. All the latest tech is in the RZ, NX, RX, GX, LX & ES the many makers for Lexus. Last year when I was looking for my ES 350 Priority Lexus in Virginia Beach, VA added a $10,000.00 market adjustment on top the MSRP of $109,000.00. That's BONKERS at any time. They also added a $5,000.00 market adjustment to the ES350's, market adjustment is PURE dealer profit and greed. I drove 100 miles to Sheehy Lexus in Richmond and did not have to pay any market adjustment or addendum. In the finance office it was not a hard sell either, they offered me options, tire, paint protection etc. I only had to say "no" once and we moved on to the next item. My financing was pre-approved through Lexus Financial and I selected the car I wanted online. Total time to purchase the car about 90 minutes in and out including the test drive, taking my pic with the red bow and the time I spent with the technology specialist explaining how everything worked. Definitely worth the drive, a beautiful high tech showroom and a great car buying experience. The experience at Mercedes Benz was also very expeditious. It has been my experience when you purchase a luxury car it's an extremely different compared to Ford, Chevy etc.
Rebates mostly offered when inventory is excess. LS500 is low volume and not like they need incentives to get them off the lot.
Value wise they hold up very well to similar priced Audi-MS-BMW. Those can go north of LS pricing really fast.
Its not that "Lexus does not care" about the car that put them on the map. They are inanimate objects whose time might have come and gone.
They are in the business of building cars and selling them. People want massive 100k suv.
Genesis I guess is not selling a ton of their flagships either but no doubt the new kid on the block is taking sales away.
If you really want to see whats happening in the luxury car market understand the last few years of sales in china which has been huge but with that Lexus being japanese gets mostly shut out.
German cars carry a prestige there and china holds grudge vs Japan still.
Its why the GS was not continued and likely the LS will morph into something else.
There's a $1,000 rebate on 2023 LS vehicles right now if you look on the Lexus website.
I am not surprised with the extra incentive offered by Lexus and further additional discounts from dealerships for LS500! I have started another link recently notifying the steep depreciation of LS500 market value. With in 10 months from the purchase of a brand new unit, I suffered a 50% loss to my investment for my 2022 LS500 Luxury AWD. I am shocked when I researched for the current market value. Finally, I traded it in for a fully loaded 2023 LS500 hybrid AWD L-certified vehicle. LS500 is a fine luxury vehicle. I love it very much but couldn't resist when the right offer came through for a replacement to mitigate the steep progressing depreciation. I never experienced this with any of my previous Lexus vehicles. Not to mention, with the hybrid, I love the Lexus Teammate Advanced Driving and the Auto Park and the extra mileage.

Do you mind telling us what you paid, then sold, and paid for the new hybrid. Be very helpful information to see the financials.

No worries. nothing to hide. My 2022 LS500 AWD Luxury with 8960 miles received $76,000 trade-in. Originally when I purchased I paid $103,500. For my 2023 L-certified LS500 hybrid Luxury AWD with 3480 miles, I paid $102,200. Since the hybrid is L-certified, the manufacturer's warranty is for 6 years unlimited mileage from December 2022 with the first 4 scheduled services are at no cost.Exterior colors of both the same, manganese luster. My trade-in had Palomino interior while the hybrid is black interior.

Not sure of what math you're using, 104k down to 76k isn't 50%. You know the saying, as soon as you drive a car off the lot you lose 10-15%. You're also not comparing apples to apples. The dealers aren't incentivized to offer you a deal with a trade-in, especially when you're buying another used car. the best trade-in deals are just to get you to buy a new car in the quest to reach their monthly/quarterly/yearly sales goals.
To determine the actual depreciation you have to look at the DEALER's sale price of your car vs what you paid for it new.

Dude, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but you're paying way too much for these cars. More than $100K for an LS? Are you on drugs?
I don’t know why you’re worried about what another man paid for HIS car. I understand why men act this way. Worrying about another’s man’s pockets is what women do. We like our cars and don’t worry about what others think. Do you say the same thing for S Class or 7 Series owners who overpay for their cars?

hkochat raised the issue, so I commented on it. I don't even know whether hkochat is male or female, not that it would matter. I was raised poor, so in my mind wasting money is basically a sin. Maybe I should just drop that baggage, and not care, I don't know? But it has served me well so far. You remind me of the guys who pay $50K over sticker for a Raptor R. You must be an idiot too.

Funny enough I was at a Ford dealer looking at a 21 LS this week and the dealer was bragging about selling their Raptor R for only 50k over and how they were just so nice lol
Anyway the 5 year depression on the LS has been ~47-53% over the last few years. After those 5 years it’s another 5% per year (from MSRP). I did some used car pricing analysis by year from every used LS on 3 car sites.
