Hello,
I'd love everyone's opinion on what to expect and maybe avoid LS500 AWD in my situation. I live in a mountain area in WY where we get 500in of snow every winter. I owned in the past RX300, RX400, RX450(current) and LX570(current). I drive 100miles daily, and would like more comfort than what RX can provide. The main features of the LS that attract me are the massage chairs and nicer interior.
What should I expect given that the LS has a lower ground clearance, is that going to be a factor? How is the AWD perform in snow on this car?
Thank you all!
This car does great in the snow if you keep it at the factory height you should be fine in terms of going over snow, obviously higher snow the car will just push it, here is a link to when I drove mine in the snow. The car feels very planted and I didn't really feel as if I didn't have control. The stock tires I would say are must for needing to go, but other than that the AWD system is great in the LS.
