So we got about 13" of snow today, we have been lucky as this is our first real snow storm with a foot or more. The roads were semi-clean meaning they started to plow them but the road was still filled with compacted snow. My street had started to clean the snow but left banks up which I had to plow through and the car did not stop or get stuck in it.The AWD system is amazing this thing held its own in the snow, if anything I blame the tires for most of the grip problems it had which is expected. Love this thing though although I think I'm getting a SUV over the summer as I'm not driving my car in this weather again.

 

What tires come with your car? I have Michelin Arctic Alpin on the wife's RWD Jag S-Type and it goes great in snow. She went out at 8 AM and had no problem. I just have regular Pirelli P7's on my LS, but I don't have to go out until the roads are clear.

And talk about March in like a lion!

 

Bridgestone Turanza El450 RFT Which I'm hoping to get replaced under the recall for non-runflat's

 

Oh yea, the Turanza is what originally came with my car, but it was EL some other number, can't remember.

 

Yea checked them today EL450 RFT. My service advisor said he will know more by next week on if I can replace with any tire under the recall.

 

EL42... horrific! Both my LS's came with those tires, first developed (if memory serves me right) for the all-new 2004 Acura TL. The reviews were not good back then either
