Hi I just got a 2018 LS500 and I am trying to figure out the best place to put my phone? Where do you all put it? What mounting locations/phone holders? photo's? any ideas appreciated.

No mount since have CarPlay.
Either in my pocket or in a cupholder if I am charging.

 

In the center console, right under the CD player, there seems to be a perfect slot to put your phone sideways.

 

The notch as said under the CD player.
The cupholder as its easy.
Rare I charge it but on long trip in the console.
Most of the time in my pocket with air play dongle.
I have not looked for a pro mount as I had in my GS or previous BMW. No Apple Car play in that car and I used the phone for Tidal and NAV.

 

I use a CupFone in the cup holder next to the dash.

 

this one works great for me...vent right of the stereo within ez hand reach..

 

I thank you all for responding. I put this together with ram mount stuff and ran a 10ft power cord from the center console. (tucked under panels) I can charge or use wired car-play if I want or keep it unplugged and use the wireless dongle. its perfect for everything in my opinion. Its out of the way of all the buttons, does non block my view in any way while driving, see's my face and the face id keeps it unlocked. I can keep my hand on the wheel and still touch the screen if I need to. I'm super happy with this setup!!!

 

Yep same place I put mine, not sure if that was what is was designed for but it holds a cellphone well.
