2018 LS 500. I've read various sources where people comment that the shift quality between the first two gears is jerky; and this has been my experience as well. I must have gotten that impression while driving in NORMAL mode. A couple days ago I was driving around town in "ECO" mode, a lot of start/stop traffic. I was pleased to discover that the jerky shift was gone(as long as I wasn't doing quick starts). ECO mode may not be the best mode to be in while driving in heavy traffic because the throttle response is lessened. I use the driving-mode **** more than I thought I would. It's a pleasure to switch from "land yacht" mode to super-zippy and responsive, feeling-the-road mode. The best of both worlds. My LS has the adjusting gas shocks.
