Default LS600hl Battery does not fully charge

45 days into the ownership of 600 and never seen the hybrid battery fully charge. The top bar never turned blue, is this normal?

Hi... It's normal....It seldom does get it fully loaded...but if You ride a long mountain downhill it finally will top up the bar ...

Can't speak to the LS600 but neither of my Prius hybrids ever have the battery fully charged (top bar lit up).

Funny I was going to post the same question but never got around to it. Mine is similar to the picture where it is mostly one bar short but every now and then it goes full charge, just not that often.

Another thing that happened is that at one point the picture in that display for the moon disappeared and I had to look in the manual to get it back. I must have accidentally turned that feature off.

to sure the 2010 does the little moon thing. If it does, I have no clue how to turn that on or off.

What's it for?

For pre 2010 LS600's you just hold down the "disp" button on the right side of the steering wheel and the pictures come back or disappear. They are just pictures, nothing else. On the battery screen there is a moon, on the other ones there is a gas pump picture (I think for miles til empty), there is a wheel (I think for miles driven), and a couple other ones.

Still doesn't help me on my 2010, maybe the fancy LED dash doesn't do this.

No luck on this 600ism, 2010 doesn't have this picture feature.

I would much rather have your 2010 dash than a useless picture of a moon, thermometer, and wheel lol

Good point!

Love the dash in this car. Seriously, I cannot get enough of this car. Wife was driving while I was driving my 99 Dodge Ram truck, (hauling junk from Mtn house) I just kept staring at it in the mirrors. Car looks amazing on the road!
