Transmission disengages while driving!
i went to N back to D & even manual mode. Engine revs, but tach stays around 2,000.
in hindsight, moving forward I’m taking to Lexus or Toyota expert for future jobs like this
Before it even heats up you should turn the car on, fill it to the point it overflows, then wait for temp. As it heats up past room temperature to spec temp it will automatically overflow to correct level, don't attempt to partially fill some arbitrary amount then wait for temp and fill more.
Drain
Engine off fill to overflow
Engine on fill to overflow
Keep engine on cycle all gears (move quickly)
Keep engine on fill to overflow (move quickly)
Keep engine on wait for temp
At temp wait for fluid stream to subside
Seal overflow
Shut off engine
Key on, command VB replacement relearn
Go drive it hard/however you will normally drive but I suggest at least one 0-130 run so it learns high pressure offsets quickly.

So, since fluid wasn’t at proper temp, I’m assuming the fluid level was too low, causing irregularities in shifting properly?
He got a 2nd opinion, and seems the fluid was under filled.
For anyone wanting to know the correct procedure, see post #17.
Now i'm dealing with chirping noise coming from my FL wheel/brake. It's not the wear indicator, or dirty rotors...SMH!
