End of Telematics
I'm surprised there haven't been any recent threads about the 3G sunset and the end of the telematics. Maybe since they're all 5 years old or older most people don't subscribe to Enform anyway.
Mine stopped working in late September, a month or two earlier than Lexus had predicted.
I liked the features and didn't mind paying the $14 per month, and there doesn't seem to be any third party replacements. I've seen car locators, but that's about it; nothing that would allow you to lock/unlock, get reminded if you leave a window open, etc.
Sad.

I got an aftermarket alarm system with remote start though an app you dowload. Its pretty similar to the discontinued lexus app in that u can- start,,lock and unlock the car and also see the location of your car all from the app for a similar monthly fee . The alarm is from drone mobile.

Has anyone found a use for the Alexa app now part of the App Suite? Siri gives me better and faster results. I think Alexa is a very poorly integrated and functional app overall, not even a decent bone to throw at us for the end of telematics.

yes it has worked flawlessly so far for me. i can lock unlock start the car or check the status and location from anywhere.
