Remote Start
The app is called Lexus Enform. You can find out about it on Lexus website. It's a subscription service that offers many features besides remote start. Older vehicles used cellular 3g services to communicate with cars but 3g is no longer working and only newer cars have different connectivity for apps. I think 2017 is still the old 3g. Let us know here what you find as many others are curious. BTW, some previous posters have assumed that all Lexus cars have remote start via key fob, not true, it's an option that most don't have.

According to Google search, 2015 and newer models include remote start. Youtube video indicates, press lock 3 times rapidly and car will start. I have a 2013 and can't test these claims. Good luck.
My 2017 GS350 F Sport does not have this feature. I have attempted to install the MPC (also Fortin) remote start using the factory key FOB. Even after they sent a replacement module it still didn't work. I am waiting on the 12volt solutions kit so hopefully that will work.
I know this worked in the 2014, not 100% sure if it works on a 2015 but, it should. I have installed this personally and it works great, no take over feature but, 3X lock and the car starts.

and it's under $70 if you can find them. 5 wires to the ECU...so it's an easy install.

When the Lexus Enform App debut in 2015 it was only on Sedans with Navigation. It then was rolled
out on all models (except CT200h's wo/display audio) in 2016. Fast forward to now and the legacy 3G
communication services are being shut down by Verizon/AT&T so all the 2010 (safety connect only) to
2017 Lexi and various other autos/devices will have nothing to connect to.
OP - have an aftermarket Remote Starter installed, look for one with a separate small fob which will have
much longer range than getting a system that relies on your original Lexus fob. Also consider paying extra
for the 2-way feature that reports back to your fob that the car actually started.
