My car makes a rattling sound in the morning when I started it sounds like something is rattling in the driver side engine compartment sounds like a old diesel motor or it sounds like just something loose rattling but it cycles like the AC unit cycles and stops when the car warms up I cannot figure it out

This isn't that big of deal because the rattle is low oil pressure to the tensioner. After driving 100 miles in 84°F heat at idle with AC on/off the rattle will come back. I switched to 5-30 with a heavy oil stabilizer its been keeping the tensioner rattle at bay. The oil stabilizer keeps the oil from breaking down in high heat. I drive 09 LS with 254xxx miles and commute 200 a day. I know this vehicle very well!
I'm planning on replacing the chain and all tensioners at 300xxx miles just because this rattle has always been on my mind.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND 5w30 with oil stabilizer IF YOU DRIVE LESS THAN 25 MILES A DAY.
The tensioners are self ratcheting with the exception of the chain linking the intake to exhaust cams, unlikely the main tensioners are having the rattle when cold/drained or when the oil is hot.
Haitianluv does it sound like this? See attached. My 2014 has 300k miles on it. I have noticed this sound only on a cold start-up and once it's warmed up it won't make the sound anymore. My mechanic buddy said it sounded like a stuck lifter that is oscillating incorrectly when cold, but then become un-stuck when warmed up. He said that as long as I'm not driving heavy load when it's making this sound it's probably good.
I will say that I added SeaFoam cleaner into my oil last weekend (9 fl.oz.) and since then this noise has gone away. I'd imagine the cleaner un-stuck whatever was making this sound. As previously mentioned by Mythicalni I do plan on moving to 5w-30 and adding in a heavy oil stabilizer when I change the oil this weekend. Hopefully I don't find metal in my oil today....
