Control Arms
houston roads are the worse we are neighbors i’m in houston as well decided on beck arnly upper arms the steering feedback has greatly improved. the lower front arms will be beck arnly and lower main arm will be 2013 + oem
a majority of my funds spent on OEM shocks and strut mounts making ride quality excellent, I have now learned everything other than shock absorber can be purchased from Amayama for reasonable prices

The two of the best shops in Houston are Southwest Alignment and Arivex. Southwest was a little high for me at the time but he's super honest and transparent. No upsells. The guys at Arivex left Southwest and started their own shop. Super clean shop. You may want to shop for your own parts though with both. Labor is super reasonable and both shops are a few blocks from each other.
I would stay away from Mevotech, get Beck&Arnley or Delphi/AC Delco if you don't want to spend on OE since those brands have very known quality and the latter is OE for a LOT of brands parts. B&A usually try and pick the closest part they can for a given application and sometimes it's just an OE part in their box. Mevotech failed me on a bunch of balljoints and I am still quite leery of them in general after that.....they also tend to not be dimensionally correct in certain cars. It got to the point I had to tell customers I would not install their parts if they brought me that brand, they may have fixed it by now. I am not sure and I haven't checked, I just go with the options I mentioned since they are known good
I was not able to figure out who Lexus used as their OEM for the arms, I thought it was Delphi/AC Delco but there were some minor differences. They were extremely close and the bushes were nearly dead on identical in density/durometer vs OE, it was just the castings lacked the same markings as the OE arms. I have 4 more brands arms coming to try and figure out who is the actual maker but it's not looking good.
Timken/koyo/national for bearings
Moog used to be excellent for everything, they got cheap though
Dorman is fine for certain things and they make "odd" parts that no one else does
A1 Cardone is the devil
KYB makes good struts
Centric makes surprisingly good brakes
If you want cheap but probably won't kill you SKP somehow hasn't failed on me yet, only issue is the warranty is only 1 year vs lifetime with the brands I prefer. They actually DO honor the warranty even 3 years out

Oh great. Yea I had a good experience with them as well. Maybe next time I'll try the Mevotech. Let me know what your experience is after installation.
