Default Testing Parking Sensors

I get a warning that my right corner sensor(s) are faulty. I bought one off of eBay and swapped it today. Started at the outermost. No change. Went to the next one, no change. On my older BMW, you can put he car in reverse(not running) and run your finger by the sensor and feel it click. No click, no work. Have replaced a few using this method. I don't have tech stream, so trying to get this up and working properly. Any tips for a DIY? FYI, I went thru the fender well to avoid taking off the whole bumper and had no problem getting to the 2 outer. Thanks

I believe that replacements require calibration with tech stream. But if you do a search here, I know there are some results with more info.

Still struggling with this. Have searched all the forums with a search and can't find anything definitive on how to remedy this. Am I the only one that has this issue or do most just live with the error? I just like a vehicle to work as it was designed and to have all systems up and running. Yes, could go to the dealer, but currently don't want to be date raped by them and would like to solve this at home. Trying to find someone with tech stream locally. Has anyone ever diagnosed parking sensors with it? Would assume they could test each one individually to see where the exact problem is.

I did a Google search "replace ls460 bumper sensors" and got several sites and videos that you may find helpful. BTW, it's possible non OEM sensors may not work with Lexus.

Thanks. Have been using duck duck go and getting very different results. Have realized that the only way I am going to do it is to pull bumper and start swapping sensors for process of elimination to determine what is up.

It is possible that you have damaged or broken wiring versus a bad sensor. When I was having the sensor fault it ended up being a wire that had been chewed all the way through by a pack rat. I was only able to diagnose once the bumper cover was removed.

Good point. And realize that I will have to go the step of taking bumper off. I try the simple solutions first(replacing noted sensor) than move on from there. I will update this thread once I resolve. Thanks
