Default Ignition coils

Have a 2009 Lexus ls460 with 45k miles. I am doing a tune-up now and I was advised to change the ignition coils. Any recommendation for which coils to buy?

The coils don’t really need to be replaced as a maintenance item. They don’t wear out like spark plugs. If any of them malfunctions then you fine to replace them 1 at a time, but they can last for hundreds of thousands of miles. If you do replace them, you’ll want Denso or OEM ones, old Denso ones are probably better than most new aftermarket ones anyway.

There is no need to change coil packs at all. Lexus units usually last well past 250k and only should be replaced if they are damaged from a plug that was let go too long.

Agreed they can last the life of the car. Oil kills them more than anything.

Just hit 300k miles and have never changed the coils. Just the plugs.
