That's not the best winter beater. RWD, eats fuel, more expensive to maintain. On the price not sure, car prices are so out of control I've lost track of what is considered normal.

If it runs and drives with minimal body damage $4000 is a good deal. Be prepared to wrench on it and spend another $4000 on mechanical parts

So is your 2013 awd GS350 you mention in your previous posts. You know damn well it make no sense to have an ls460 as a beater. It's $4500 for a reason. Take that money and buy a 2002-2006 or older Toyota Camry Preferably the 3.0 V6.
I have a 2006 and I was going to use it just as a beater for a few years but it has been a PHENOMINAL vehicle that I travel in full time. Good V6 power and damn near maintenance free. Parts are cheap and plentiful. It's Boring looking so it blends in. 15 years old and NO interior wear. Last of the old school bulletproof Toyotas

Camry V6 is surprisingly quick and due to reliability record, it is on of the best cars to have. LS460 as a beater is just not a good idea due high parts/maintenance cost.
