Default CHECK VSC SYSTEM warning light on after replacing tpms sensor

Replaced one tpms sensor at discount tire today

After installing the sensor, the guy kept spraying liquid (maybe soapy water?) on the valve stem and tried several times to twist on it (maybe it was leaking?) Then he had to break the tire bead again and replaced some small parts and then it seems ok to him.
After re-programming is done I was asked to drive the LS460 out. Surprised to see warning light on dash "Check VSC system" with VSC light and ABS light both solid on. I asked him why this happened he had no clue and suggested me to go to a dealer.
Then the boss stopped by and reprogrammed one more time with a handheld tool. all the lights were off and seems everything is fine.
Never have seen this before at discount tire store.

I would say not to worry about it sometimes the car throws codes while replacing tire or brake pads etc he cleared the code best thing is to drive around and see the codes pop up back or not because i think the boss just cleared the codes

If the sensor was replaced however not fully/properly programmed it may have thrown an error code. It sounds like our manager was able to upload the sensor ID code into the vehicle which the car accepted and turned the lights off. We actually just messaged you regarding your tire thread questions, please let us know if your reply if your lights are still off. The liquid he was spraying was likely soap and water to confirm if the TPMS nut and gasket were properly sealing to the wheel. It sounds like he seen bubbles indicating a leak so he removed the gasket and replaced it creating a proper seal

Thank you for your business! We are sorry for any concern or inconvenience this may have caused and will certainly help to correct it if its still an issue.

I changed all sensors and did not program them. The car is at the dealer for an ABS actuator. The actuator and pump were changed and the ABS/VSC lights remain on. The dealer insists the issue is electrical and couldn't be related to the tpms sensors. Can you confirm the TPMS swap triggered ABS/VSC lights?

Thanks!
