2007 LS 460 Trunk will not close
A year ago the trunk motor blew out and i was just using the key to open the trunk , well after getting my valve cover gaskets replaced i noticed my trunk would not open manually , finally it opened but now will not close , motor is dead and the
latch not working , i slammed the trunk 100 times jammed a screw driver i the latch pushed all known buttons and still no closure ..
My question is can i replace the latch with out replacing the motor and just use the key , i cant pay another 1000 or 2000 grand right now ?? this car is like my last girl friend ,shes fun around town but she sure is expensive ..Thanks for any info
